The development process required exploration into different aspects of the existing brand, and reinterpreting them. Attention had to be paid to applications of the identity and its use in the real world.
CURRENT BRAND
Cincy Fringe’s mission is to provide opportunities for artists to present experimental productions, and celebrate performing arts of all kinds. A slogan they use in branding is “Kinda Weird, Like You!”
Cincy Fringe branding changes annually, usually revolving around the design of the Fringe Guide, which contains showtimes and ads from the festival’s sponsors.
IDENTITY
I also hoped to create brand elements that could be effectively used in other applications.
